Terms of Service

1. The Service

Stay Obssd ("we", "our", "us") lets you turn your own Strava activities into customizable images and videos. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your Strava Account

You sign in with your Strava account and authorize us to read your activity data on your behalf. You must have the right to use that Strava account, and your use of Strava remains governed by Strava's own terms of service. You can withdraw our access at any time — in Settings ("Disconnect Strava") or from your Strava account settings. See our Privacy Policy for what we store and for how long.

Strava relationship: Stay Obssd is an independent product that uses the Strava API. It is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or operated by Strava. Our access to the Strava API can change or be withdrawn, which may limit or end features that depend on it.

3. Your Content

Designs you create belong to you. Photos and videos you upload as backgrounds stay in your browser — they are not uploaded to our servers — and you are responsible for having the rights to any media you use. Exported images and videos are yours to share; activity data shown in them comes from your own Strava account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Access to Strava API data and the core Strava-connected editor is free. Charges apply only to advanced non-Strava creative capabilities such as local video backgrounds, animation rendering, and video encoding; they do not buy Strava API access. Paid features are offered only where permitted by Strava's terms and are billed through Polar. Prices and billing periods are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal; you keep paid access until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we will sort it out.
• We may change prices; changes apply from your next billing period, never retroactively.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• access another person's Strava data or use an account that is not yours;
• scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the service or circumvent its access controls;
• resell the service or use it to build a competing dataset of Strava data;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or losses caused by third-party services (including Strava and payment providers). Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all third-party providers and licensors disclaim all warranties relating to the service and have no liability for consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms creates a warranty or support obligation for Strava or another third party.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "last updated" date. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
