Terms of Service

1. The Service

Stay Obssd lets you turn your own Strava activities into customizable images and videos. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your Strava Account

You may sign in with email and password, Apple, Google, or Strava. Connecting Strava is optional; if connected, you authorize us to read activity data on your behalf. You must have the right to use each linked account. You can withdraw Strava access in Settings or in Strava. See our Privacy Policy

Strava relationship: Stay Obssd is an independent product using the Strava API. It is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or operated by Strava. API access can change or be withdrawn, which may limit dependent features.

3. Your Content

Designs you create belong to you. Background media stays in your browser or on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for having the rights to media you use, and exported content is yours to share.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Strava API access and the core editor are free. Charges apply only to advanced non-Strava creative capabilities such as local video backgrounds, animation rendering, and video encoding. iOS purchases are billed through Apple; web purchases are billed through Polar.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel an iOS subscription through your Apple account, or a web subscription through the Polar billing portal. Paid access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: we do not refund partial billing periods except where required by law. Contact us if something went wrong with a charge.
• We may change prices from a future billing period, never retroactively.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• access another person's Strava data or use an account that is not yours;
• scrape, probe, overload, interfere with the service, or circumvent access controls;
• resell the service or build a competing dataset of Strava data;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided as is without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or losses caused by third-party services. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, third-party providers and licensors disclaim warranties and liability for consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or indirect damages. These terms create no warranty or support obligation for Strava or another third party.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We will post the updated version here and change the last-updated date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
